We purchase all our vehicles from auto auction. We feel that this is the best and most trusted source. Buying from auction is ideal since you pay no markup to dealers in Japan and you receive non bias, professional auction sheets. All vehicles are double inspected by two different sources to confirm vehicle quality before shipping.
When choosing a vehicle to import you will be given an English translation of the auction sheets for vehicles we believe to be the closest match to your needs. The number of translated auction sheets depends on the amount of vehicles that meet your needs. The auction sheet offers all the information you need to choose a vehicle. A sample auction sheet can be found here. Auction sheets are reported by the auction house’s trained and licensed staff. Staff who deliberately tamper with auction sheets are liable to lose their license to inspect vehicles. Also, the auction house is independent from the seller of the vehicles and has no benefit of intentionally misrepresenting the vehicles true quality. Be careful to read the auction sheets in their entirety and do not rely in the auction grade or interior grade since some auction houses may rate vehicles differently.
We re-inspect each vehicle before purchasing to reduce the risk of there being errors.
You will supply us with your maximum bid amount for each vehicle based on our recommendations. We then bid up to your maximum. In the event that a vehicle may be purchased below your maximum amount, we will stop bidding and only charge you the minimum for that vehicle. Once the auction is finished we will contact you and report a successful bid or unsuccessful bid.
